Lake Falcon weather turns nasty, but we still managed to have a good time.

Andre and his Dad Earl came down from Louisiana.  The spend a lot of time fishing the basin and they were excited to fish Falcon Lake for the first time.  They had the two worst weather days in the past 20 to fish, but we still managed to catch fish.  We caught about 20 ( missed about 10) the first day with a 30 degree drop in the temperature, Our biggest went about seven pounds.  The second day we fished half a day and managed 14 fish.  The water temp was 66 degrees 3 days ago, today it was 55 so we were pretty proud of the 14 fish we caught under the conditions.  Earl was throwing a spinner bait and managed to catch our biggest fish today.  He also lost the one that would have went to the scales, instead he got to watch a Falcon monster display her aerial acrobatics and her desire to sling that spinner bait back at him.  I really enjoyed these two and they are already talking about bringing a group down in the future.  I am pumped because next time they will be bringing the black iron skillet and the Gumbo pot.
